Samskrit Promotion Foundation (SPF) is an NGO, registered as a Trust
(www.samskritpromotion.in) engaged in promoting Samskrit.
SPF has produced learning teaching material for NCERT Books at School level and has produced
e-learning courses for professionals or adult learners. It has also produced plenty of material
for elementary and pre-primary children too.
In order to facilitate study of Primary Shastra texts, SPF has developed self-study material in
Simple Standard Samskrit (SSS) under its flagship title called Samskrit for Specific Purpose (SSP).
Courses have been launched on different categories like Ayurveda, Yoga, BhagavadGita,
Vedanta, Jyotisha, Natya Shastra, Sangeet Shastra, Shilpa Shastra, Kavya like ‘Ramayana,
Mahabharata, Raghuvansam & Subhashita’, Nyaya Shatra, Dharma Shatra, Arthashastra,
Buddhism and Jataka-Mala, Bharatiya Ganitam, Vastu Shastra, etc.
SPF has a research wing under which various projects are being undertaken for providing e-
content which is searchable under the Text Mining & Authentication Project of Indian
Knowledge Systems (IKS). This will be useful in the research related activities in IKS. Under its
research wing, activities like Preservation and conservation of manuscripts, digitization of
Samskrit Libraries and generation of searchable content is undertaken.
For two of its upcoming prestigious projects of scanning and digitization of Samskrit scriptures,
books and journals it requires skilled resources on one year contractual basis .
