Samskrit Promotion Foundation (SPF) is an NGO, registered as a Trust (www.samskritpromotion.in) engaged in promoting Samskrit. SPF has produced learning teaching material for NCERT Books at School level and has produced e-learning courses for professionals or adult learners. It has also produced plenty of material for elementary and pre-primary children.
In order to facilitate study of Primary Shastra texts, SPF has developed self-study material in Simple Standard Samskrit (SSS) under its flagship title called Samskrit for Specific Purpose (SSP). Courses have been launched on different categories like Ayurveda, Yoga, BhagavadGita, Vedanta, Jyotisha, Natya Shastra, Sangeet Shastra, Shilpa Shastra, Kavya like ‘Ramayana, Mahabharata, Raghuvansam & Subhashita’, Nyaya Shatra, Dharma Shatra, Arthashastra, Buddhism and Jataka-Mala, Bharatiya Ganitam, Vastu Shastra, etc.
SPF is provided grants from Central Samskrit University (CSU) under the project titled ‘Translation of Samskrit IKS material prepared by SPF to Hindi and English’.
SPF is also undertaking another project in association with Prof. KV Sarma Research Foundation (KVSRF) & Central Sanskrit University under the Special CSU Grants Project titled ‘Technology Adaptation for Publishing of Rare Manuscripts in Sanskrit, Pali and Prakrit’, which is being executed by Prof.KVSRF. Under this project, Digital "Unified Catalogue of Corpus of Indian Knowledge" (UC-CIK) will be prepared.
These are timebound projects with strict adherence to timelines, cost and quality. These projects will facilitate research in Indian Knowledge Systems. For these prestigious projects SPF & KVSRF require Samskrit Scholars / Professionals on contract basis for two years
