Dr Chand Kiran Saluja is a reputed scholar and educator. He was born in Delhi. He did his schooling in Delhi. He did his Masters in Sanskrit, Hindi, Political Science, Linguistics & Education with Delhi University (DU). He pursued his doctoral research with DU.
He taught in the Central Institute of Education, DU for nearly 27 years. He took voluntary retirement from DU in 2013. Since then he is serving as “Director-Academics” of Samskrit Promotion Foundation. He is a well-known, multi-faceted expert on Education & Bharatiya Shiksha. He is passionate about teacher training. He is widely sought for his expertise on pedagogy, curriculum development; evaluation etc., He had taught in schools for a decade. He has guided many scholars in their doctoral research. His lectures on National Education Policy 2020 are keenly received by academicians and administrators. He is Member in many types of ‘councils of universities’ and Government institutions. He served as the President of Working Committee with Samskrita Bharati for 13 years.
He was awarded D.Lit by National Sanskrit University, Tirupati. He is recipient of “President’s Certificate of Honour for Sanskrit Language” for the year 2019. He also received the “Vishwabharati” award from Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2020.
